There are also grocery stores, markets, and bakeries nearby. the room was clean and had strong A/C, which was perfect for the hot weather. the well-equipped kitchen and access to a washing machine were definite pluses.

The physical space might not be appealing to everyone. the neighborhood felt safe but had a gritty vibe.

Storage space and towel hooks in room. Friendly and helpful hosts, had a pleasant stay with considerate fellow travelers. Will recommend to friends. I also appreciated the use of a washing machine and the fact that the water was filtered, reducing plastic waste. despite a few minor drawbacks such as the surrounding area not being attractive, I would highly recommend Au Dela De La Porte Du Bonheur for anyone visiting Guadeloupe.

Our stay at Au Dela De La Porte Du Bonheur was absolutely wonderful. The hosts, Jerome and Maria, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided everything we needed, from information to food and equipment. We even enjoyed their t punch bar evenings. The water was filtered, which was a great eco-friendly touch. our hosts made our stay truly special and memorable.

We did have to share spaces with other guests, so it may not be suitable for those who prefer more privacy. Additionally, the surrounding area is not very attractive, but that is not the fault of the owners.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! the host, Jerome, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. the building itself is secure and even has an elevator, which was a huge plus since our apartment was on the 5th floor. the shower was amazing, and we really appreciated the separate shower and toilet areas. the apartment has 2 other rooms that can accommodate up to 4 people, which is great for larger groups. There is also a market nearby, which made it convenient for us to grab any essentials we needed. we had a fantastic experience and couldn't have asked for more!

We felt quite safe during our stay and had absolutely no complaints at all.
